How long does it take for physical items to be made and delivered?
Expect 5 to 12 business days for delivery within the US. Because every physical artifact in the Haven is custom-crafted on-demand to maintain premium quality, your order undergoes a two-step sequence: Archival production (3–7 days) followed by transit (2–5 days). Multi-item orders may arrive in separate, dedicated parcels.
Do you ship across international borders?
Yes, we ship our puzzle books to over 130 countries. (Note: Custom posters and jigsaw puzzles are currently restricted to the US). International transit typically takes 10 to 30 business days depending on local customs processing speeds.
Can I change or cancel my order once it is submitted?
Cancellations or address changes must be requested within 1 hour of purchase. Because our studios utilize automated routing systems to get your items into production immediately, an order cannot be altered or stopped once it enters the manufacturing queue.
What is your return policy for physical merchandise?
Because our books, puzzles, and posters are printed specifically for you when you order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind, incorrect size selection, or opened items. However, if any item arrives damaged, warped, or with a printing defect, please contact us with a photo of the issue within 14 days of delivery, and we will arrange a pristine replacement at no extra cost.

How do I receive my digital phone or PC wallpapers?
No waiting on couriers for these! The second your payment is cleared at checkout, a secure download link will be generated on your confirmation screen. You will also receive an automated email containing access links to your high-resolution digital files so you can access them at any time.
What formats do the digital files come in, and will they fit my screen?
All digital wallpapers are delivered as high-resolution, uncompressed .png files to ensure maximum color depth and crispness.
- Phone Wallpapers are rendered in a vertical 9:16 aspect ratio, optimized to look perfect on modern iOS and Android screens.
- PC Wallpapers are rendered in a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio (suitable for standard 1080p, 2K, and 4K displays).
Can I share or distribute the wallpaper files?
Purchased digital wallpapers are strictly for personal use only. You are welcome to use them across all of your personal devices, but downloading them does not transfer copyright. Regrettably, sharing the files online, redistributing them, or using the artwork for commercial purposes or secondary merchandise is strictly prohibited.
Can I get a refund on a digital item if it doesn’t suit my style?
Because digital files are delivered instantly and cannot be physically “returned,” all sales of digital wallpapers are final. We recommend double-checking your device’s screen requirements before purchasing. If you experience a technical glitch where the download link fails to load or the file arrives corrupted, please reach out to support, and we will verify your token and resend the file directly.

What exactly is an “Axis Puzzle”?
The Axis Puzzle is a custom-designed, systematically coded word-pattern game. Unlike a standard word search where words drift randomly, these puzzles are built entirely around geometric alignment. Every hidden word-pattern relies on a central, stabilizing letter position—the Axis. Find the Axis, decode the surrounding patterns, and you reveal the hidden solution.
Are there solutions included, or am I left in the dark?
A true scribe never leaves a seeker permanently stranded. A complete, classified Answer Key is provided at the very back of the book. Use it to verify your deductions, or as a tactical hint if a particular grid leaves you thoroughly stumped.
Do I need outside knowledge or a dictionary to solve these?
Not at all. Everything you need to crack the code is entirely self-contained within the puzzle’s code and its accompanying hint. You don’t need a trivia background or a dictionary. Just a sharp eye for pattern recognition and a willingness to scan the lines closely.
Are there actually hidden layers on this website?
The tagline isn’t Sleuth’s Haven for no reason. While our standard store checkout and regular blog posts are direct, transparent, and user-friendly, the Solemn Scribe does occasionally leave explicit breadcrumbs, keyword challenges, or hidden easter egg pages for those who pay close attention. When a post or button contains a hidden layer, there will usually be a clear, playful warning to start hunting!

Who is the creator behind these codes?
Sleuth’s Haven and The Axis Puzzle series are entirely engineered by a solitary fantasy author and game designer, Sophia Sunesis. The same dedication, architectural worldbuilding, and love for intricate narrative breadcrumbs that go into writing epic, atmospheric medieval fantasy novels are poured directly into coding these custom puzzle frameworks.
Can I share puzzle solutions online?
We love seeing our community celebrate a breakthrough! You are more than welcome to share photos of your progress, your workspace, or your reaction to a tough grid on social media. We only ask that you do not post direct photos of the completed Answer Key pages, keeping the mystery alive for fellow sleuths who have yet to cross the field.
